  • Tipping is not necessary. If you’d like to show your gratitude, please consider contributing to our Pay-It-Forward program, which helps a community member receive consistent and supportive care.

  • A sense of adventure! Oh, and a water bottle. Hydration is important.

  • Drink plenty of water and eat lightly (at least two hours before a session is ideal). Set an intention for your session (if you need ideas, Rebecca can help). Use the restroom. Turn off all electronics.

  • Hydrate twice as much as what’s typical for you. Check in daily and pause. Ask your body what it needs. Allow for reflection. Rest if you can. Eat nourishing foods.

Incorporate breath work, visualizations, or stretches used in session in your daily life. Be consistent with your bodywork maintenance.

  • In the 4-6 hours following a cupping treatment, the areas where cups were applied may feel sensitive to temperature and friction. Stay hydrated (think 2x more water than usual), rest and avoid things like hot showers, saunas, hot tubs, cold plunges and intense exercise the day of your treatment.

Cupping sometimes leaves temporary markings or discoloration after treatment. Depending on the person, these painless marks may fade within a few hours or take up to a week to disappear completely.
